Corn Tortilla Chips

Tortilla chips
Pure corn tortillas
Sun flour oil for deep frying
Salt to taste

Cut the tortillas into desired shapes
Wait until the oil is hot enough, I usually insert a wooden chopstick and if it bubbles quickly it’s ready to go.

Gently place a few in the oil at a time (don’t overcrowd the oil) until they are crispy and golden.

Cook in batches.

Drain on paper towel.

Salt while still warm to taste.
